LACAH Pakistan was hosted on the 20th and 21st of May in 2023, with a total of 52 participants across 6 universities in addition to 12 judges from Pakistan. This tournament was a continuation of a series of national-level mock trials hosted in conjunction with LACAH partners, working with The New Visionaries, a student-led organization geared at creating a culture of collaboration, respect, and mutual support. Each team competed actively and did a wonderful job in the two-day competition, with Aitzaz Chan winning the Outstanding Attorney Award and Awais Ahmed Jamali winning the Outstanding Witness award. LACAH looks forward to seeing all of these talented advocates and witnesses in our future tournaments!
This tournament reaffirms LACAH’s mission of promoting trial advocacy and spreading awareness on social justice, leading contestants to reflect on their choices in an ever-changing world. LACAH Pakistan stands testament to the collaborative efforts between LACAH and TNV, a partnership that shows the importance of widespread education on law and justice.
